I like to watch people hail cabs. The frenzy of it all. Their hands reached out, gesticulating with such fervor. Or sometimes they just run up and get in when a taxi is stopped at a light. But always with great haste. A group of five girls cram into the backseat. Always giddy.

Or people exiting the subway. In one massive rush. Emerging from the escalator, the blob forms and then the sidewalk turns the blob into smaller blobs of people. Some go this way, some go that. None stay.

There they are again. And again.
